Bukima Adventure

This overland tour will take the word adventure to its limits. We explore the vast deserts and steep mountain ranges of the old Silk Road traders. Leaving Istanbul we head towards the black sea, and into Georgia , where we explore the mountain scenery of the Caucasus . Azerbaijan is next where we head towards Abs heron Peninsula and Baku to catch our Caspian Sea ferry. Crossing into Turkmenistan we explore this fascinating desert and mystical countryside as we make our way north towards Uzbekistan . Sealed off from the world by mountains and deserts we visit Khiva, Bukhara , and Samarqand, filled with history from the ancient Silk Road trail that linked through to China . Crossing the border into Kazakhstan , we make out way inland towards the capital and Kurgaldzhin reserve. Lake Balkhash is next before crossing into Kyrgyzstan , where we are met by a wealth of nomadic traditions. Crossing this mountainous country will be a challenge on its own as we cross back into Uzbekistan , Turkmenistan and into Iran . Exploring this fascinating, scenic and welcoming country, we make our way towards Turkey , stopping at an array of sights before this spectacular, memorable trip comes to an end in Istanbul .
