We make the most of New Zealand on this tour as we travel from top to bottom. Departing Auckland we head south crossing over to the Coromandel Peninsula where we stay in Hahei. Here you have the chance to visit Hot Water Beach. The geothermal region of Rotorua is next where we venture into Maori history, culture and customs with a visit to Whakarewarewa Village. The East Coast is next, stopping at Napier before arriving in the capital city of Wellington . Crossing the Cook straight we leave the North Island behind and make our way into the South Island. We follow the coast before arriving at the whale watching town of Kaikoura where, weather permitting, you have the chance of seeing these amazing mammals. The beautiful city of Christchurch follows as we make our way towards the Southern Alps. Dunedin is our next stop as we venture further south crossing inland to Te Anua, where the road leads to the amazing Milford Sound. Onto the Southern Lakes area and Queenstown - where there is plenty of time to enjoy the vast array of adventure activities on option here. Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers are next before you board the Trans Alpine Train back to Christchurch. |
