This amazing highlight packed 5 week South America overland tour starts in Ecuador with an Amazon Jungle experience before next relaxing in the hot springs of Baños, while here you can enjoy a multitude of activities including rafting, mountain biking, Canyoning and Horse riding to name a few. The beautiful Colonial city of Cuenca is next, famous for being the original home of the Panama hat! Next stop on your South America Adventure is Peru, and its northern beaches for some chill out time don't forget to check out the Sea horse breading programme it really is a must, before uncovering the ancient pre-Inca historical sites of Chan Chan and the temple of the Moon. We then make our way to the capital, Lima.
Our next three weeks will surely be one to remember as we explore the ancient mysteries of Peru. We board a boat for a trip to the Ballestas Islands to see a variety of marine life before stopping at the Nazca, famous for the figures and lines etched into the desert floor. Your South America Overland Adventure then spends time in Arequipa before heading to the Colca Canyon, one of the most spectacular canyons in the world to view condors gliding on its thermals. Onto Cuzco for our Amazon Jungle and Inca trek into the heart of the Andes to discover the legendary city of Machu Picchu. Our next stop is Lake Titicaca, where we overnight on an island in the middle of this sacred lake before returning to Lima and tour end.
